Angelo Mandato RawVoice CIO will be presenting today at AdTech in San Francisco. The panel he is slated to participate in will be the culmination of several months of work on a podcast / new media measurement standards document.
Over the past couple of months Angelo has lead the Measurement committee at the Association for Downloadable Media. The committee as a whole has come up with a measurements standards document that is being announced and revealed to ADM members and the general public today.
In talking with Angelo today we both understand that this is a first step in laying lasting groundwork that will help media buyers understand that their are standards they should be looking for when working with podcast and new media companies.
RawVoice has been in the new media measurement space Since 2005 and developed media measurement standards that our media buyers trust. A majority of the standards that we and other companies in the space follow made it into this first measurement document.
A public commenting period will begin for all of the ADM documents released today. My team is looking forward to reviewing all of the other committee reports and commenting on them as well, as most of the documents being released today are being seen by many ADM members for the first time as well.

RawVoice is pleased to announce the Subscribe Sidebar Wordpress plugin.
The Subscribe Sidebar plugin creates a uniform list of the most common subscribe links with icons to display in a blog’s sidebar. The plugin may be added to the sidebar by either utilizing the dynamic widgets sidebar feature or adding a few lines of code to your theme’s sidebar template. Configurable options include links for RSS 2.0, Atom, Podpress podcast Feed, add to Google Reader/Homepage, add to My Yahoo, add to iTunes, add to Zune and follow on Twitter.
The plugin was inspired by our Subscribe & Share sidebar found in the RawVoice Generator’s program pages. RawVoice CEO Todd Cochrane wanted the same easy to find and recongize functionality of the subscribe links found on our Blubrry, TechPodcasts and PodcasterNews properties for our Wordpress blogs. My (Angelo’s) answer, the Subscribe Sidebar plugin.
Unlike our Subscribe & Share list found in the RawVoice Generator, the Subscribe Sidebar plugin does not contain any share links. If you are looking for a Wordpress plugin that includes this functionality, please check out Alex King’s Share This plugin.

Since the introduction of our Podcast Audio & Video statistics service we have had a huge number of media creators use the service as their primary source for up to date media statistics.
The biggest thing we hear from those using the service is that the information provided is reliable and consistent. But few understand the three years of data analysis that we used to get where we are today.
We have released a white paper on RawVoice Statistics, the information provided will give both media creators and media buyers the information they need to make informed decisions on media statistics validity in relation to RawVoice and others in the space. RawVoice Statistics White Paper

The Team at RawVoice met this past weekend and spent the better part of 30 hours working on our strategy for 2008. We are all very excited where we are headed.
Armed with a stack of task each member of the team will be executing all of the agenda items we came up with. Their will be a lot of forthcoming announcements and we truly think we have a long list achievable goals for the coming year.
